Rufus Runs Fast is a video production company based in Aberdeen, Scotland. It’s run by Sam Thom, a journalist and former BBC radio producer, and offers a fast, efficient and creative service to clients in the North East, across Scotland and in England. Rufus Runs Fast also offers a freelance service to content producers, such as the BBC.
History
Sam Thom set himself up as an independent video producer in 2009 after taking redundancy from the BBC where he worked for nine years, seven of those as a documentary producer. He is a solo shoot-editor, which means he films and also edits the brief. The benefits of this include lower costs, faster and more efficient work, and a smaller ‘footprint’ on location.
